Fashion’s Night Out 2012

Unfortunately I am going to miss Fashion’s Night Out tomorrow — be sure to follow Aly as she wanders Manhattan as @Fairchildbooks nurturing tomorrow’s designers today), live tweeting the scene and happenings. Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is now a worldwide collective promoting the fashion industry. Many don’t realize how much the fashion industry affects your every day life. Remember that scene from The Devil Wears Prada in which Miranda Priestly rips Andr-ay-ah a new one for snickering at belt options? More truth to the point Ms. Priestly makes than one would like to think, I’m sure — it is a multi-billion dollar industry, after all. However, all the more reason to support FNO. Shop FNO, and you’ll also be supporting AIDS Awareness across the globe. With celebrities, models, and the latest looks from this year’s hottest designers, it’s a win-win, and really a no-brainer.

So: Whatever city you may be in, go forth! Tomorrow, September 6th! Celebrate individuality, glamour, glitz, style, and fashion.
